  SMB系列产品是一种推入锁紧式连接器，它具有体积小、重量轻、电性能优良、使用方便的特点，适用于无线电设备及电子仪器的射频回路中连接射频同轴电缆用。

SMB系列同轴连接器是一种微型连接器，它得名于（SubMiniature B/微型B类）。同SMA（SubMiniature A/微型A类）一样，它产生于十九世纪六十年代。SMB连接器的界面特别适合于电缆RG316/U和RG178/U.

SMB系列采用独特的弹夹外套式设计，它的连接方式采用推入式（snap-on）,接插及分离快速可靠。由于SMB系列连接器采用的连接方式以及它的小体积的特点，它适合高密度安装。

SMB系列连接器适用于无线电设备和电子仪器的高频回路中连接射频同轴电缆。
