本机试法是取试件约 5m 长，中段挠于规定直径之两个圆轮上，两端施加荷重，并接通电流，然后以 0.33m / sec 之速度，1m 之行程，移动圆轮，使试件往复弯曲拉伸，当断线或到达设定次数，会自动停机，取下试件评定其耐挠曲性质。
