Panasonic PMF dry film capacitors are commonly used in air conditioning and refrigeration applications or in any motor run t*e application. Our custom PMF capacitors are produced in voltage ranges between 220V ~ 480V and microfarad ranges between 0mfd ~ 35mfd.

Panasonic dry "Wound Metallized Film" (PMF) capacitors are encased by the same flame retardant plastic as the SMF and filled with epoxy resin. The core material arrangement is wound, instead of stacked, which offers slightly different characteristics making higher voltages and capacitances possible. PMF capacitors are equipped with the same self protective function (as SMF) that prevents case ignition under extreme current.
