The ADM485 is a differential line transceiver suitable for high speed bidirectional data communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. It is designed for balanced data transmission and complies with EIA standards RS-485 and RS-422. The part contains a differential line driver and a differential line receiver.

ADM485是一种适用于在多点总线传输线上的高速双向数据通信的差分线收发器。其设计为平衡数据传输，符合EIA标准RS-485和RS-422。该部件包含差速线驱动器和差速线接收器。

 

Both the driver and the receiver can be enabled independently. When disabled, the outputs are three-stated. The ADM485 operates from a single 5 V power supply. Excessive power dissipation caused by bus contention or by output shorting is prevented by a thermal shutdown circuit. If during fault conditions, a significant temperature increase is detected in the internal driver circuitry, this feature forces the driver output into a high impedance state.

驱动程序和接收器都可以独立启用。禁用时，输出为三状态。ADM485从单个5V电源中工作。热停机电路可防止由总线争用或输出短路引起的过度功耗。如果在故障条件下，在内部驱动器电路中检测到显著的温度升高，则该特性将迫使驱动器输出进入高阻抗状态。
