LV-2846A&B is a two-part,long working time and low temperature cure silicone elastomer supplied as A and B componenents specially designed for opto-devices potting applications.

LV-2846A&B offers the following features:

1．Easy of mixing

Can be easily mixed in 1 to 1 mix ratio of components by weight.

2．Nocorroseon

Addition cure system:no by-products generated.

3．igh light tran*issio

Excellent light tran*ission over 95% at 500-700nm.。

4．Low temperature cure

  Full cure at60℃*1 hour or 80℃*30 minutes.

5．Excellent dielectric propertes

  Cured rubber exhibits good dielectrec properties.

6．Excellent thermal stability and cold resistance

  Cured rubber provides wide service temperature range from –40℃~175℃

CURING SCHEDUL*

After potting LV-2864A&B into opto-devices, follows below curing schedules.

1.     80℃*1hours

2.     100℃*30minutes

HOW TO USE

Mixing and de-airing

1.     Thoroughly mix equal amounts by weight of parts of A and B.

2.     Vacuum de-airing is recommended. A residual pressure of 10-20 mm mercury applied for 10 minutes will sufficiently de-air the material.

Curing

The mixture cures rapidly at elevated temperatures. A t*ical cure condition is 100℃for 30 minutes, however the cure conditeon should be well considered because it depends on the heat capacity of the modules in whichLV-2864A&B is applied.

Compatibility:Cure can be inhibited when in contact with certain materials such as organo-tin compounds, sulphur amines.

USABLE LIFE AND STORAGE

When stored at or below 32℃in the original unopened containers, LV-2864A&B has a usable life of 12 months from the date of production.

LIMITATIONS

Certain materials,chemicals,curing agents and plasticizers can inhibit the cure of LV-2864A&B,The most notable include:

1.     Organotin and other organometallic compounds.

2.     Silicone,Rubber containing organotin catalyst.

3.     Sulfur,polysulfieds,polysulfones and other sulf-containing materials.

4.     Amines,urethanes and amine-containing materials.

5.     Unsaturated hydrocarbon plasticizers.
